Giant Rooks is a German band formed in 2014 in Hamm, Germany. They are mostly known as an indie band, but their music spans several genres, including Indie Rock, Indie Pop, R&B and Pop. Prior to their debut album, Rookery, they released three Eps. The band has a vast experience of playing live, playing nearly 400 shows before releasing Rookery. Rookery is an intense mix of indie-rock, pop and R&B sounds that blend beautifully together.
The band loves telling stories, not just about what’s happening in the world, such as lockdowns, but tales of life and death. Giant Rooks want to make themselves different from any indie band that arrived in the 2000s, adding a fresh approach to the genre.
